Ms. Saw Yu Ting, DPM

Saw Yu Ting 女士在美国完成了足科教育和外科培训,是迄今为止唯一接受过外科培训的新加坡足科医生。她于 2017 年获得纽约足科医学院(NYCPM)足科医学博士学位,并入选 Pi Mu Delta 国家荣誉服务协会。

2020 年,她在长岛犹太森林山医院完成了后足踝外科住院医师培训,同时还在两家一级创伤医院接受足科护理。在住院医师培训期间,她广泛接受了住院和门诊糖尿病肢体救治、伤口护理、运动医学、指甲护理、老年和儿童护理以及生物力学方面的培训。

她的实践经验不止于住院实习期。在攻读 DPM 学位期间,她曾在纽约市周边八家不同的市立医院接受培训。这使她得以广泛接触各种足病。作为一名学生,她还获得了西德尼-索德博士奖,以表彰她在足病治疗和服务足病社区方面的卓越成就。

Mr. Jackie Tey

Jackie Tey 先生是卫生部控股公司健康科学与护理足病奖学金的获得者,他在新加坡中央医院(SGH)和盛港中央医院(SKH)开始了自己的足病治疗职业生涯。在公共医疗机构工作期间,他是多学科团队的一员,与矫形外科医生、血管外科医生和内分泌科医生密切合作,治疗复杂的糖尿病足并发症患者。他还参与临床研究,帮助改善护理服务和患者疗效。在 SKH 工作期间,他的热情和真诚为他赢得了认可和奖项。他对患者护理的奉献精神还促成了一种新型负压伤口敷料技术的创新,他和他的团队因此获得了国际一等奖。

除了致力于糖尿病足的治疗外,Tey 先生还在治疗肌肉骨骼疾病、运动损伤和儿科下肢疾病方面拥有丰富的经验。他对下肢生物力学和运动损伤有着浓厚的兴趣,在诊断和治疗各种下肢疾病方面有着深厚的知识,深受同行的好评。他之所以对这些领域感兴趣,是因为他从小患有扁平足,并参加过篮球、曲棍球和排球比赛。这些经历也赋予了他与运动损伤患者建立联系的敏锐能力和有效治疗的第一手经验。

Benedict Khoo,新加坡首席足病医生。海峡足科

Mr. Benedict Khoo

本尼迪克特-邱先生是一名新加坡足病医生,在私营部门工作多年。他以优异成绩毕业于澳大利亚昆士兰科技大学足病专业。他擅长治疗运动损伤以及由行走或跑步步态生物力学引起的其他类型的常见疼痛性疾病。

邱先生的临床兴趣在于优化现代疗法,以帮助患者康复,并通过使用径向压力波疗法和聚焦体外冲击波疗法,深入研究非手术治疗方案。他接受过冲击波应用方面的培训,并获得了国际医疗冲击波治疗学会的认证。他利用医疗冲击波疗法治疗各年龄段人群常见的损伤和下肢生物力学并发症。

邱先生还热衷于使用微创手术技术治疗复发性嵌甲。这将为患者带来最佳的美学效果,同时疤痕最小,恢复时间更短。

邱先生是海峡足病学的开创者之一,如今已成为新加坡公认的足病学专家。

玛吉-李(Maggie Lee)女士是卫生部控股公司足病学健康科学与护理奖学金(Health Science and Nursing Scholarship)的获得者。 从昆士兰科技大学(Queensland University of Technology)获得足病学荣誉学士学位后,她对足病学充满热情,对肌肉骨骼生物力学、康复和高风险足病的治疗产生了浓厚的兴趣,尤其是对儿科患者。

李女士是一位充满活力的足科医生,以其在各种医疗环境中提供多方面的足踝护理而闻名。李女士拥有多元化的技能,热衷于跨学科合作,擅长为吴廷芳综合医院(NTFGH)和国立大学综合医院(NUP)的患者提供全面的治疗。

在这家急症医院工作期间,李女士与血管外科医生和骨科医生密切合作,处理复杂的足踝疾病。凭借足病医学的专业知识,她在动脉供血不足、静脉供血不足、Charcot 足畸形和截肢后溃疡等病例的治疗中发挥了关键作用。通过合作会诊、床旁清创和卸载干预,李女士确保患者获得符合其个人需求的最佳护理,重点是恢复功能和提高生活质量。

除了在医院工作外,李女士还被借调到综合诊所,主要负责皮肤和指甲管理以及肌肉骨骼疾病。在这里,她为不同的患者提供服务,从皮肤病和病理性趾甲到需要治疗足部发育畸形和运动损伤的儿童患者。李女士富有同情心,以病人为中心,提供个性化的治疗方案,满足每个人的独特需求,促进痊愈并预防未来的并发症。

Mr Daniel Wong, Principal Podiatrist at Straits Podiatry

Mr. Daniel Wong

Mr. Daniel Wong is a Singaporean podiatrist with extensive experience in both public and private healthcare settings. Over the years, he has developed deep expertise in specialised areas of podiatry, including musculoskeletal care for foot and lower limb pain, skin and nail management, post-surgery lower limb rehabilitation, and diabetic foot management. His experience spans a wide range of patient needs, from older adults to young children with developmental foot concerns.

In his previous roles at two of Singapore’s largest restructured hospitals, Daniel was instrumental in advancing podiatry services and patient care. Notably, he was appointed the lead for the rehabilitation services within the podiatry section, designing and implementing comprehensive care plans for patients recovering from foot and ankle pain, which involved the prescription of customised foot orthoses. His work involved close collaboration with doctors and surgeons in orthopaedic surgery, vascular surgery, and endocrinology.

Daniel played a pivotal role in developing evidence-based protocols to ensure optimal care outcomes and spearheaded initiatives like the provision of medical shockwave therapy services. He also mentored junior clinicians, fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring high standards of care across the department.

A recipient of the Singapore General Hospital Overseas Merit Scholarship, Daniel graduated from the University of South Australia in Adelaide, where he consistently excelled, earning the Chancellor’s Letter of Commendation and annual merit awards throughout his program. To expand his impact on public health initiatives, he obtained a Master’s in Public Health from the National University of Singapore, Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, enabling him to integrate public health principles with his clinical expertise.

Daniel’s unwavering dedication to patient care is exemplified by his achievement of the SGH CEO Service Award, the highest possible hospital-wide accolade for service quality, making him the only Podiatrist to receive this prestigious honour.
